Course Objectives:
The aim of the course is to provide information about operating systems security while educating IT specialists, to train individuals who have detailed knowledge of security issues and develop their own strategies.
Course Content:
Students will have information about the security dimension as well as the basic features of operating systems. Gains knowledge of authentication, attack types and defense approaches. They specializes in operating system threats, certified systems and logging, cryptography as a security tool. Develops a security defense strategy against all threats. All topics are covered in the context of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
