Software Industrialists Association (YASAD) Chairman of the Board Gönül Kamalı and YASAD Secretary General Sevilay Güven visited the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences on April 5, 2023. In the meeting attended by Vice Dean Prof. Bekir Tevfik Akgün, Deputy Deans, Faculty Members and Research Assistants, Mrs. Kamalı made a speech about the current situation of the software industry and the importance of training qualified software developers.
During the meeting, the importance of the cooperation between Yeditepe University and YASAD was discussed in order for students to receive education in accordance with the needs of the sector and to contribute directly to the employment of students by aiming to train qualified labor force for the software and informatics sector with compulsory and extended internship supports of member companies.
The cooperation between the Software Industrialists Association (YASAD) and Yeditepe University Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences will be an important step towards the integration of students into the business world and raising graduates who are knowledgeable about constantly developing information technologies.
